The problem

Nobody plans for a break-in

Going to work, heading off for the weekend, leaving the patio window ajar in summer. They are normal routines and none of them is a mistake. The question is what happens in your home if someone takes advantage of them and you are not there to see it.

When nobody is at home

Working hours, school, a holiday. With the alarm connected, the empty house is not on its own: if a detector is triggered, Segurma's ARC sees what is happening and acts, even if you are far away.

When the family is inside

At night, with the children asleep, what you want is to know before anyone reaches the hallway. The door and window sensors alert at the first attempt to open them and the indoor siren sounds straight away, so whoever is outside thinks twice.

When it goes off and you can't deal with it

You are in a meeting or driving and the alert reaches your phone. You do not have to decide anything on your own: Segurma's ARC is already reviewing the images and audio and, if it confirms there is an intruder, it takes care of alerting the police.

I want to protect my family
How it works

What happens, step by step, when someone tries to get in

Many people picture an alarm as a siren that sounds and that is it. What matters is everything else: who looks at the images, who decides whether it is real and who calls the police. This is how Segurma's system works in a home.

A sensor is triggered

The magnetic sensor notices the door or window opening and the camera detector captures images and audio of that moment. All of it travels instantly to Segurma's own Alarm Receiving Centre.

The ARC looks before acting

At Segurma's ARC they review the video and listen to the audio coming from your home. If it is your son back earlier than expected, nothing happens; if it is an intruder, the alarm is confirmed as real.

The indoor siren makes noise

Meanwhile, the siren sounds inside the house. Its job is simple: to let whoever has got in know they have been seen and had better leave the way they came.

Police alert with the images

If the intrusion is confirmed, Segurma's ARC alerts the police and makes the video and audio available to them. It is an alert from a licensed security company (no. 3082) with evidence of what is happening, not a suspicion.

Stays connected even if the power is cut

The control panel communicates over the internet and also over 4G/5G, and has a battery. If someone switches off the fuse box or the fibre goes down, the link to Segurma's ARC continues over the other route.

And you see it all on your phone

From the app you arm and disarm, watch the cameras live and receive every notification. Handy for checking the children are back from school or for disarming from work when the cleaner arrives.

Which alarm does your home need?

The final kit is decided during the survey, with no obligation. Tap your type of home and see which kit and which parts it includes.

Components

What each part is and when it makes sense to fit it

Not every home needs the same thing: a ground-floor flat with a patio is not protected the same way as a fourth-floor flat with no balcony. During the survey we advise you on what to add and what to leave out. Here is each part explained without jargon.

It's that simple

From the call to a working alarm

1

We talk about your home

You tell us what it is like: flat or villa, how many entry points, whether there are pets, whether it sits empty for long spells. With that we propose a kit and put it in writing, with no obligation.

2

The technician comes round

A Segurma technician comes to your home, usually within 24 to 48 hours, fits the detectors and leaves the alarm tested. The equipment and its installation are part of the monthly fee.

3

You're connected

From that moment the alarm communicates with Segurma's own Alarm Receiving Centre day and night. You manage it from the app and, if something happens, the ARC takes care of checking it and alerting the police.

Common questions

We answer your questions before you decide

How much does a Segurma home alarm cost?

€24.90 a month for the first 12 months, VAT included, with the equipment and installation included. From month 13, €43.90 a month for the Kit Tranquilidad and €49.90 a month for the Kit Tranquilidad Plus. No surprises: you get it all in writing before the installation.

What exactly happens when the alarm goes off?

First the indoor siren sounds and you get a notification on the app. At the same time, Segurma's own Alarm Receiving Centre receives the images and audio from the detectors and reviews them. If it confirms there is someone inside who should not be there, it alerts the police. If it sees it was a mistake, nobody is sent out.

Does it also work if the house is left empty for a while?

Yes, and it is one of the situations where it makes the most sense, because nobody is going to notice from inside. With the system armed, any opening or movement reaches Segurma's ARC, which checks it with video and audio and, if there is someone who should not be there, alerts the police, whether it is a burglary or squatters trying to move in.

Do I need building work or to change anything at home?

No. The equipment is wireless and a Segurma technician fits it in a single visit, usually within 24 to 48 hours of completing the sign-up. There is no chasing walls or running cables, a detail you will appreciate if you rent. Before leaving, the technician shows you how to arm, disarm and use the app.

What if the power goes out or the internet drops at home?

The alarm keeps working. The control panel has a battery and communicates in two ways: your home internet connection and a 4G/5G line built into the equipment. If one fails, whether by accident or because someone causes it, the other keeps the link to Segurma's Alarm Receiving Centre.

What can I do from the app?

Arm and disarm, watch the cameras live, talk through the audio and receive every alert the moment it happens. It is what you will use day to day: for example, to disarm from work when a family member arrives without a remote, or to take a look at the house before bed if you are away.

What if it goes off by mistake? I have a dog and small children.

False alarms happen and the system is designed to handle them calmly. Before alerting the police, Segurma's ARC looks at the video and listens to the audio; if it sees it was the pet or someone from the household, nobody is sent out. During the survey it helps to tell us if there are animals or children: where the detectors go is decided with that in mind.

Is there a minimum contract term? What if I am not convinced later?

The minimum term is set by Segurma's contract (we confirm it in writing before you sign) and in return you pay nothing for the installation or the equipment, maintenance is included and you keep the fee of €24.90 a month for the first 12 months. You are not buying equipment blind: first we do a free survey of your home and explain everything in writing. If on the call you feel it is not for you, there is no obligation at all.
