Asunción is a very good professional and attentive to her customer. Quick installation with no complications. Time will tell, but it looks good.

If someone manages to settle into an empty house, getting them out no longer depends on you but on a court. Segurma's anti-squatter alarm is designed so that moment never comes: at the first attempt to force the door, Segurma's own Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) reviews image and audio and, if the break-in is real, passes the alert to the police. You follow it from your phone, wherever you live.

Once the squatters are in, you're already too late: a house is protected beforehand
A second home on the coast, your parents' flat still unsold, a rental sitting empty between tenants. Nobody switches on a light or empties the letterbox, and that shows from the street. If one day someone forces the lock and moves in, the problem stops being a broken door and becomes a case in court.
What gives an empty house away
Blinds always down, flyers piling up at the door, no light at night. A home with no activity stands out after walking past a few times; something needs to react the moment anyone touches the door.
Why the first moment counts so much
While the break-in is happening, the police can step in straight away if the offender is caught in the act (flagrante delito). Once the person has moved in and locked the door from inside, the way out is through the courts (vía judicial), and there the owner no longer sets the pace. The difference is raising the alert in time.
What a monitored alarm brings
It is not just that it sounds: someone responds to it. When a detector goes off, Segurma's own ARC receives image and sound of what is happening inside; if there is a person, it alerts the police with that evidence. You see it on your phone from the other end of the country.
What happens, step by step, when someone forces the door
An anti-squatter alarm is not a sign on the front of the building or a siren that goes off on its own. It is a chain: the detector sees, Segurma's ARC checks, the police receive the alert and you follow it from your phone.
The first detector goes off
The magnetic contact on the door separates from the frame, or the camera detector picks up movement in the hallway. The equipment captures image and audio and sends it to Segurma's own ARC.
Segurma's ARC looks before acting
At Segurma's Alarm Receiving Centre those images and that audio are reviewed to find out whether there is a person inside or just a curtain moving. That filter turns an alarm activation into an alert with substance behind it.
The siren sounds inside the house
At the same time the indoor siren is triggered. Whoever is forcing the entrance understands from the first moment that the property is not abandoned: they were looking for a house with nobody keeping an eye on it and picked the wrong place.
Police alerted with images
If Segurma's ARC confirms the break-in is real, it passes the alert to the police with what it has seen and heard. Turning up for a suspicion is not the same as turning up for a verified intrusion: when the offender is caught in the act, the officers can step in straight away.
Stays connected if they cut the power or the fibre
In a shut-up house it is easy for someone to switch off the fuse box or rip out the internet cable before going in. The control panel has two routes, internet and 4G/5G, plus a battery, so it keeps talking to Segurma's ARC even without mains power.
Everything on your phone, at any distance
From the app you can arm and disarm, receive every alert as it happens and, with the kit that includes an IP camera, watch live footage. It is how you know the house is still as you left it.
Choose your anti-squatter kit
Both set-ups work for a home that spends long spells with nobody in it; the difference is how much you want to see from outside. Both are connected to Segurma's Alarm Receiving Centre 24 hours a day, with equipment and installation included in the monthly fee.

- Control panel connected 24/7 to Segurma's Alarm Receiving Centre
- Detectors with verification camera
- Keypad, indoor siren and remote

- Mobile app to control everything

- Everything in the Kit Tranquilidad
- IP video surveillance camera with audio
- Live footage from your phone

The offer ends on 31 October. The final kit is confirmed during the survey. Minimum term as set in Segurma's contract.
What each part does in an empty house
An anti-squatter system is put together to suit the property: how many entrances it has, whether there is a plot, whether there are windows at street level. These are the parts and what each one is for.

Guide prices for add-on parts (monthly fee, VAT included). The control panel and the parts in your kit are included in the monthly fee; the system is extended to suit your home's needs after a free survey.
How it gets up and running
You tell us about the property
We call you, no obligation, to find out whether it is a flat, a villa or a village house, what entrances it has and how long it stays shut up. With that we prepare the survey.
A Segurma technician installs it
Usually within 24-48 hours of sign-up. They fit the control panel and the detectors, check they are talking to Segurma's ARC and show you the app. Equipment and installation are part of the monthly fee.
You leave with your mind at rest
The system stays armed and connected. If someone tries to get in, Segurma's ARC checks it with image and audio and alerts the police, and you see it on your phone.

That is exactly the case it makes most sense for. Nobody is going to hear a door being forced or see a light come on, so the only way to find out is for a detector to report it. The system stays armed permanently and every activation is handled at Segurma's own ARC, day or night.
The detector at the entrance sends the signal and the equipment captures image and audio, which reach Segurma's ARC. There they check whether there is a person inside; if there is, the police are alerted with that information and you get a notification on your phone. The indoor siren sounds from the first moment.
Because it changes what the police receive. An alert with images of someone inside your home is an intrusion in progress, and when the offender is caught in the act the officers can step in straight away. Without that check, all that arrives is a suspicion.
Waiting is exactly what you want to avoid. An inherited flat stays shut up while the family decides whether to sell it or let it, and that is when it looks emptiest from outside. The sensible thing is to protect it from the start; if you later sell it or let it, that change is arranged with Segurma.
In that case, no: once they are settled in, the route is through the courts and an alarm does not change that. What you can do is protect the property as soon as you get it back, because it will be the same shut-up house as before. The alarm makes sense before someone gets in, not after.
Yes. It is a professional system installed by Segurma, a licensed security company, no. 3082, and connected to its own Alarm Receiving Centre. The images are taken inside your home: those from the camera detector, when the alarm goes off; those from the IP camera, when you decide to look. They are there so that Segurma's ARC can confirm the intrusion and the police have something to act on.
The alarm control panel does not rely on a single route: it communicates over the internet and over 4G/5G, and it has a battery to keep working if the mains fail. Even if they leave the house without power or without fibre, the signal still reaches Segurma's ARC.
Packs start at €24.90/month for the first 12 months (VAT included) with equipment and installation included; from month 13, €43.90 or €49.90/month depending on the kit. The minimum term is set by Segurma's contract (we confirm it in writing before you sign) and, in return, installation, equipment maintenance and the promotional fee are included.
First of all we carry out a free, no-obligation survey and explain what is going to be fitted and where. The installation is done by a Segurma technician, usually within 24-48 hours, and they do not leave until they have checked that every detector is talking to Segurma's ARC. If there is a problem later on, maintenance is included in the monthly fee.
